Nick's Looks Episode 2 "Under the Gunn"--I began this "style blog" here on NICKVERREOS.COM last week documenting what I wore on Lifetime's "Under the Gunn". If you missed the "Episode 1 Nick's Looks", click HERE. For this second week, here are images of not just what I wore, but also my two other co-mentors, Anya Ayoung-Chee and Mondo Guerra. Mentor Suiting: For the intro of the episode--when the remaining designers get their "challenge", I wore a Zara silver suit, H & M light blue dress shirt and Topman baby blue satin skinny tie. The pocket scarf is from Etro, of course!

As part of the "Under The Gunn" Intro of the show, we--the mentors--had to dress ourselves (well, we dressed ourselves for the entire show, thank you very much!). But being that we had to film the Intro's, we had to dress "extra" special. My co-mentor Anya Ayoung-Chee, the former Miss Trinidad & Tobago Universe and Season 9 Project Runway Winner, asked me to bring one of my NIKOLAKI sparkling cocktail dresses for her to wear. Naturally, I was more than happy...












Anya wore a NIKOLAKI by Nick Verreos/David Paul golden silk chiffon sequined bias-cut cocktail dress which featured a high bateau neck, deep cowl back and three-quarter length sleeves.


















Purple Nick: And in case you were wondering, here's what I wore: my Topman purple sateen suit with black shawl collar, Topman black skinny tie, Topman white dress shirt, and silk Etro pocket scarf--"Under The Gunn" Intro shoot

Every week I will try and do a "Nick's Looks" Fashion Take and show you what I wore--all bought and not borrowed--and all styled by my partner-for-life and NIKOLAKI/NV Nick Verreos co-designer David Paul. David worked as a Wardrobe Stylist, Costumer on many TV shows, films and commercials for NBC, MTV, ABC, etc. so I was happy I had him to style me for the show!



Here's my "Nick's Looks" for this week's "Premiere/Episode 1":








My blue sateen jacket with black shawl collar, my skinny black trousers and skinny black tie were from Topman, and my silk printed pocket hankie/scarf was from Etro. My boots are YSL "Johnny Boots"








For the Mentor Picking session of Episode 1, I wore my favorite pinstripe double-breasted jacket as well as denim skinny jeans, both from Zara. The lavender dress shirt is from H&M and pocket scarf from Etro. My chocolate brown boots are YSL "Johnny Boots".
